There's a JURASSIC WORLD Short Film Coming To FX Called "Battle at Big Rock" From Director Colin Trevorrow
While we wait for Jurassic World 3 to be released in theaters in 2021, we have a short film coming to FX that we can watch soon called “The Battle at Big Rock.”
The short film comes from Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow, and you’ll be able to watch it this Sunday, September 15th, on FX. The director shared the following poster on Twitter, along with the caption:
“These creatures were here before us. And if we’re not careful, they’ll be here after.”
This is something that Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm said in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

There aren’t any details on the plot, but judging by the poster, it doesn’t look like it’s set on the island of Isla Nublar or any of the other Jurassic Park islands. This looks like the short is set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom when the Dinosaurs are released on the main land of the United States.
Maybe the story follows a family on a vacation that ends up fighting for their lives when they run onto some dinosaurs on the loose! That could be fun.
