There's a Michael Jackson Animated Halloween Special Coming to CBS

CBS has set up an animated Michael Jackson project called Michael Jackson's Halloween. According to THR, the network has teamed with Jackson's estate to develop the special, which will incorporate the music of the late pop star.

The hour-long telecast will follow millennials Vincent (MacGyver star Lucas Till) and Victoria (The Flash film's Kiersey Clemons), who meet “accidentally” on Halloween night and find themselves, along with Ichabod the dog, at a mysterious hotel located at 777 Jackson Street called This Place Hotel. Once inside, Vincent and Victoria go an unexpected, magical adventure of personal discovery, culminating in a spectacular dance finale featuring an animated Jackson.

Sounds like it could be fun! I'm especially interested in seeing how this animated Michael Jackson dance scene turns out! You can see a piece of key art from the special above featuring the two main characters and spooky setting.

The series will also feature the voices of Christine Baranski, Alan Cumming, Jim Parsons, Lucy Liu, George Eads and Brad Garrett in various roles. As you'd imagine, the special will air sometime this fall near Halloween.
