There's a New BLEACH Anime Series in Development, Here's What We Know
Eight years after the original Bleach anime came to an end, we have news that the series will return with new episodes. Weekly Shonen Jump released the news on their official Twitter account, and the official announcement is expected to come from the upcoming Bleach 20th-anniversary project presentation taking place on March 21, 2020.
The new anime will adapt Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, which is one of the most anticipated projects for Bleach fans. After the original Bleach anime ended in 2012, fans were begging for this final arc of creator Tite Kubo’s manga to be adapted, and there have been multiple online petitions. Well, it’s finally happening, and it could end up being released in 2021.
The Thousand-Year Blood War story arc focuses on the war between the Gotei 13 and the Wandenreich. It included a lot of revelations, especially about Ichigo’s parentage and abilities. There’s no doubt that this upcoming anime will feature some epic fight sequences!
