There's a New TREMORS Sequel in Development and it Will Center on Rich People Hunting Graboids
For those of you who have enjoyed watching the crazy films in the Tremors franchise over the years, you’ll be happy to learn that a seventh film is going into development and thanks to Production Weekly, we have some plot details to share with you.
The film is said to be titled Tremors: Island Fury and it will focus on rich people who are hunting Graboids on an island. The brief plot summary reads, “The deadly Graboids are back, illegally brought in to a new island resort by a rich playboy looking for a trophy hunt.”
Sounds like it’ll be another wild and fun Tremors movie! The script for the film was written by Brian Brightly and Universal Home Entertainment regular Don Michael Paul will return to direct. Michael Gross, who has played Burt Gummer in six films and a TV series since 1990, will return for this new film. Jamie Kennedy, who plays Gummer's son, is also likely to return as well.
I’ve enjoyed the Tremors movies. They aren’t the best films, but that have offered some good and silly entertainment. What are your thoughts on the direction that the seventh film is going?
