There's a ROSEANNE Revival In Development and John Goodman is Set to Return

Sigh. Sometimes I just can't. I just. Why? Why does Hollywood do this? Roseanne is coming back. Yeah. Let's hear it from all our Roseanne fans. *Crickets*

An eight-episode revival is currently in development and producers are looking for a network to run on including Netflix. Netflix, of course, has already done something similar with Fuller House. According to THR, Roseanne Barr, John Goodman and Sara Gilbert are all set to return for the series. Which is weird because didn't Goodman's character die at the end of the series?

I was never a fan of the series. I just felt that it seemed annoying and negative. My only question is, why is John Goodman coming back? He has so many better things to work on. He's better than a Roseanne revival. But maybe he just thought it would be fun to revisit his character and go back to his roots.

I get when some shows are revived like The X-Files, Twin Peaks, and even to some extent Gilmore Girls. But Roseanne? ROSEANNE? What about Dinosaurs? Now there's a revival I could get behind. I mean why- what's that? I am just being reminded how Dinosaurs ended... with everyone dying in the dino-apocalypse. Ok... So- maybe not Dinosaurs, but Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place? Ryan Reynolds? How about it. Show us how revivals are done.
