There's a Series of STRANGER THINGS Books Coming, One of Which Will Be a Prequel about Eleven's Mom

Netflix is partnering up with Penguin Random House to publish a series of books that revolve around the hit supernatural series Stranger Things.

The first two books are coming this fall and they will include a behind-the-scenes companion book and a hardcover gift book for young readers. The companion book will be titled Stranger Things: World Turned Upside Down: The Official Behind-The-Scenes Companion. As for the gift book, it has yet to be given a title, but it will offer "advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world."

Those books will be followed by a prequel novel that will tell the story of Eleven's mom and the early days of the MKUltra program. That will be followed by several more novels for both adults and young adult readers that will arrive later in 2019.

Stranger Things has a very big and strong fan base and I imagine that these books and novels will do well. I love this world that the Duffer Bros. have created, so it's awesome that we'll be getting a series of books that will allow us to dive into this world a little more and learn more about it.
