There's a Third ANNABELLE Horror Film in Development With Director Gary Dauberman
The creepy, possessed doll that helped launch The Conjuring franchise is coming back for a third film! New Line Cinema has hired Gary Dauberman to write and direct the film. He is the writer behind the first two Annabelle movies, and he will be making his directorial debut with the third film. He also worked on Stephen King's IT and the upcoming Conjuring spinoff film The Nun.
The last film, Annabelle: Creation was directed by David F. Sandberg and it was scary as hell! I loved it and I hope that Dauberman will be able to bring that nightmarish magic back to this latest film.
There are no details on the story but we know the story will once again focus on the porcelain doll that is possessed by a demonic force. What do you think of this franchise? Are you happy to hear another Annabelle film is in the works?
The new Annabelle sequel is said to be on the fast track for New Line, and the film will be released on July 3, 2019.
