These N64 Game Cartridges are Actually Guitar Effect Pedals
I like playing guitar and exploring the world of effects pedals. I also love the Nintendo 64. I grew up on that gaming console and it was the first one that I bought. Console Pedals is a Chicago-based individual who has merged these two worlds together to create effects pedals that look like N64 game cartridges. You end up with pedals like The Legend of Fuzz, Distortion with a picture of DOOM 64 on it, and more. There are digital effects and analog effects to appeal to everyone and they are cartridges. You have to put them in a base in order to actually use them, but that’s part of their charm. It means you don’t have to mess with wires as much as you can adjust the order of the effects just by popping the cartridges in and out. These are really cool, and you can watch them in action below courtesy of Emily Hopkins and you can place an order through Etsy with each cartridge running $60-80 plus the cost for a base. Which ones are you wanting to use?
