For those of you who love the 1980s, and are familiar with the great movie marketing of the time, you are going to love this 1987 style trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. It was created by our friends at Nerdist and it's totally radical! This is seriously going to be the greatest, most awesome video that you watch today!
The video is made to look like a VHS movie trailer. I know we've seen videos like this done before for other films, but this is so much better than anything we've seen prior. They put a good amount of work and creativity into this trailer, and it paid off.
The crappy video quality comes complete with a 1980s-style voice-over guy, and they even took the awesome visual effects and purposely made them look like awful effects from the classic era. It's brilliantly amusing and I know you're all gonna love this! You'll especially enjoy how they handled the Hulk and Jeff Goldblum's character.
