This Alternate Ending For TOY STORY 4 Drastically Changes The Fate of Woody and Bo Peep
Toy Story 4 ended up being a pleasant surprise for a lot of fans. It was a fun adventure that took the main characters out of their element, introduced some great new characters, and brought Woody and Bo Peep back together.
Well, there was an alternate ending that was planned that would have drastically changed the fate of Woody and Bo Peep and I’m glad they didn’t go with it. This is a very bitter sweet ending that would have sadly left Woody and Bo Peep separated again!

In this alternate ending, Bo Peep makes the shocking decision that after all that, she does belong with a kid after all and that kid is Harmony, the granddaughter of the old woman who runs the antique shop. Then, Woody realizes that he is going to have to let Bo go!
This ending completely undermines the message that this movie was giving us. The whole plot revolved around Woody's growth and learning that there is an exciting life to be lived outside of a kid's room. So, it made sense with the original ending of the film when Woody decides to leave his previous life behind to be with Bo.
This alternate ending would have pretty much made the whole movie pointless. It’s a good thing they didn’t use it!
