This Animated Tribute to The Slipcover Art For Black VHS Tapes will Bring Back Some Memories
I don’t know about you, but when I was growing up I used to buy blank VHS tapes all the time to record my favorite shows and movies that were on TV. I have a huge collection of Batman: The Animated Series, Gargoyles, and Seinfeld episodes on these VHS tapes!
At the time, I never really gave any thought to the slipcover designs for the various black tapes that were available to buy. But today we have an animated tribute to share with you showcasing this slipcover art and it’s actually pretty cool. I love the retro designs of these!
The video was created by Russian video editor 4096 and it shows the cover art for several brands smoothly morphing in and out of each other. There’s no doubt you’ll remember many of these brands and maybe it will spark some nostalgic memories.
