I'm still sad at the death of actor Adam West, who I think may have been the first actor I ever saw play a superhero in film or television. I liked the 1960s Batman show when I was growing up, but I was obsessed with the movie, which I watched on what must have been a weekly basis during a long stretch of my childhood.
