"Imagine a place where horror lives. Where people live their lives under a dark, mysterious cloud!"

For those of you who are Stephen King fans and are excited about the upcoming Hulu series Castle Rock, I've got a documentary that you've got to watch called The Search of Castle Castle Rock. It is the notorious fictional town created by Stephen King for many of the stories that he tells, and this short doc takes us to the actual places in Maine and explores the actual events which inspired King to write about Castle Rock. Some of the stories that are set in Castle Rock include CujoThe Dead Zone, Needful Things, and The Body, which you all know as Stand By Me

This is actually a great doc that is filled with all kinds of fascinating information that I know many of you will find interesting and surprisingly informative. I like that it goes deeper than anyone would expect. The doc was created and released by Hulu in conjunction with the upcoming Castle Rock series.

Castle Rock is a 10-episode psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse. It "combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. As a series, Castle Rock aims to explore various themes and worlds, uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories."

The series is being written by Manhattan creator Sam Shaw and Dusty Thomason. It also has a great cast of actors that includes Scott Glenn (Daredevil), Andre Holland (Moonlight), Sissy Spacek (Carrie), Melanie Lynskey, Terry O-Quinn (Lost), Jane Levy (Evil Dead), and Bill Skarsgard (IT).

Hulu announced that the series will premiere on July 25th!
