This Green Ranger Cosplay Shows Us What Tommy Could Have Looked Like in SABAN'S POWER RANGERS
I was not too keen on Saban’s Power Rangers from 2017. I eventually watched it and learned I liked pretty much everything except the Power Rangers parts toward the end. However, what everyone agrees needs to happen in a sequel (if it happens) is the introduction of Tommy as the Green Ranger.
At the end of the film we were teased with a teacher calling out Tommy’s name as the camera went to an empty desk with a green sweater. What would Tommy’s Green Ranger look like though? Well, we saw what Rita looked like as the Green Ranger, but the Dragon Shield (really the coolest part of the Green Ranger costume) was missing. Enter Patrick Skye.
Skye is a cosplayer who has shown us his take on what Tommy’s costume would look like, complete with a unique take on the Dragon Shield. The golden accents are really good at making this feel like an authentic take. Also, this isn’t his first foray into Power Rangers cosplays.
