This Guy Tastes Water That is 2 Million Years Old

The guys over at the Waterjet Channel on YouTube recently found an enhydro agate that was roughly 2 million years old and it had some water trapped inside. So, what do they do with it? They decide to break it open and have one of their members, Mitchell, taste the 2-million-year-old water. One of the dangers here is that there's no guarantee the water from the agate is safe to drink. In fact, the guys over at Boing Boing point out, "...enhydro agates rarely contain pure water. They often also contain quartz microcrystals, debris, or petroleum, depending on the conditions under which they were formed." The team also gathers culture swabs of Mitchell’s tongue, the rock water, and a gas pump that Mitchell had licked in a previous episode to compare after a week. You can see the results in the video below, but I have to say, that is a beautiful rock. What’s the oldest thing you’ve ever licked?
