Most people look at broken shards of tile and see trash, but artist Matthew DiMasi sees potential. Through his company Shattered Comics, DiMasi recreates vintage comic book covers as mosaics using broken pieces of colored tile. He's done versions of Action Comics #1, Amazing Fantasy #15, and other iconic comics that introduced us to some of our favorite modern superheroes.
