It's been 50 years since Hot Wheels first hit the market, and I can't tell you how many of these I had growing up! I also can't tell you exactly when I got burnt out on them, but it was probably around the time I realized there was more fun to be had in life than rolling a toy car as far as I could on a hardwood floor. Regardless, I still got a heap of nostalgia looking back at these various car designs. I especially remember the creature cars as that was always the car people avoided at my grandma's house growing up because it didn't go as far as the others.
