This Insane Alien Size Comparison Goes From Microscopic to Planet-Sized
This fun fictional alien size comparison video lines up extraterrestrial creatures from across movies, TV, comics, and pop culture to show just how ridiculous their scale can get.
It starts at the microscopic level with the midi-chlorians from Star Wars before moving through human-sized aliens, towering creatures, 8-meter Marvel villains, and 300-meter monsters that would make most movie kaiju reconsider their career choices.
Things get truly absurd once the comparison reaches aliens so enormous that entire planets start looking like decorative pebbles. Seeing these fictional creatures placed side by side puts their size into perspective in a way stats alone can’t, especially when the scale jumps from microscopic organisms to cosmic beings of unimaginable proportions.
It’s also a nice reminder that no matter how intimidating a two-meter alien might look, somewhere in science fiction there’s always something bigger.
