This Is the Trailer for HBO's WATCHMEN Series That You've All Been Waiting For

HBO has finally released a proper full trailer for Damon Lindelof’s Watchmen series that actually gives us an idea of the story it is going to tell. This is our best look yet at the show, which is a continuation of the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, and it looks awesome!

The story set years after the events in the original story in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws. It embraces the nostalgia of the original graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.

This looks like a fantastically bold series that is going to tell a deep and complex story that is filled with interesting and unique characters. This is gong to be unlike any other comic book series that we’ve seen before, and I’m completely pumped up and ready to watch it!

The cast includes Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, James Wolk, and Robert Redford as President of the United States.

Watchmen premieres on HBO October 20th. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!
