THIS IS US 2-Hour Season 5 Premiere Moved Up Two Weeks
This Is Us has announced that the upcoming season 5 premiere has been moved up two weeks, and is now set to premiere on NBC on October 27th with a 2-hour opening episode. The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series follows the Pearson family, and their close bond, as well as their deeply relatable struggles.
The upcoming season will follow back up with Rebecca (Mandy Moore), who is headed off to a clinical trial treatment center for her Alzheimer's Disease. We will also see more of how she and Miguel (Jon Huertas) fell in love. The series will also revisit Kate’s (Chrissy Metz) marriage to Toby (Chris Sullivan) and how they are doing raising their son, who is blind. The biggest cliffhanger to address, perhaps, is the fight between brothers Kevin (Justin Hartley), who just found out he is going to be a father, and Randall (Sterling K. Brown), who is struggling with his own mental health and family issues at home.
I can’t wait to get back to the series and see what season 5 has in store. Check out the announcement photo below, and watch the 2-hour season premiere of This is Us on NBC on October 27th.
