THIS IS US Actress Lyric Ross Joins Disney+ Marvel Series IRONHEART

Actress Lyric Ross, who plays Randall and Beth’s adopted daughter Déjà on the hit NBC series This Is Us, has signed on to join the cast of the Disney+ Marvel series Ironheart. She joins previously cast stars Dominique Thorne, who will play Riri Williams, a brilliant teenage inventor who, in the comics, builds her own version of the Iron Man suit in an MIT dorm, and Anthony Ramos.

Ross will play Williams’ best friend. Ramos’ character is being kept secret, but sources say he could be the show’s villain.

Chinaka Hodge, who served as a staff writer on TNT’s Snowpiercer series, is acting as head writer for Ironheart. The series is set to begin shooting in June in Atlanta.

Ross has wrapped shooting the final season of This Is Us, which is currently airing on NBC and can be seen next in the coming-of-age film The Class, which is currently in production.
