This Japanese Trailer For GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS Gives Off a Very Different Vibe
I’ve got a new Japanese trailer here for you to watch for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and like a lot of Japanese trailers, this one has a very different kind of vibe. Especially with the anime-style music that it uses. While the trailer has a different style, it’s still cool and it’s loaded with some super rad footage of these giant titans battling each other.
At one point in the trailer, the music and the sound cut off for dramatic effect, but it feels very awkward and displaced. You’ll see what I mean when you watch it.
This next trailer is pretty much the same as above, but it’s in English with subtitles and it has different music.
This film follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Godzilla: King of Monsters stars Kyle Chandler, Ken Watanabe, and Sally Hawkins.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters will hit theaters on May 31, 2019.
