This MADTV Sketch From 2004 About Texting Is Hilariously Outdated

If only the world of 2004 could see us in 2017. What people initially hailed as a dumb gimmick has now become a social norm as people probably send more texts than they make phone calls in a day anymore! Granted 2004 texting didn't have smartphone keyboards, unlimited texting, and cost 10 cents per 140 characters...so we can understand why this MADtv sketch was poking fun at it. Watching it now is just silly though as they act like it's some overly difficult process like they're some Baby Boomer shouting in a Verizon store. Check out the sketch and text a friend about it later.
