After releasing a series of promo spots for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds introducing us to the characters who will fill the series, Paramount+ has dropped a full trailer and it looks pretty freakin’ epic! I was impressed by this trailer, and I love the tone of the new series! It actually feels like it has some real personality. This trailer got my attention and I’m excited about watching it!

The show is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Christina Chong as Lieutenant La’an Noonien Singh, and Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas.
