This Nintendo Switch Controller Lets You Plug Your Headset into It Instead of Your Phone

Nintendo’s online voice chat situation is not ideal. You have to use an app on your phone and only some games support it, and there are just a few ways to fix this. One way to help has been developed by PDP. PDP has partnered with Vivox (the people who work on the in-game chat for Fortnite on Nintendo Switch) to bring fans the officially licensed Faceoff Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller. This controller costs $24.99 and is not just a great-looking wired pro controller, but it also has a 3.5mm jack for you to plug your favorite headset directly into the controller. What’s more is that there are volume controls on the controller itself, so you don’t have to take your hands off. There are also two programmable buttons, a 10-foot USB cable to give you plenty of length, and you can change out the faceplate. If this all sounds good, you can already pre-order the controller on Amazon in Black, Blue, and Red Camo. A purple camo is listed on their site, but it looks like you can only pre-order it through PDP. The controllers will launch on July 22.
