This Poster For J.J. Abrams Insane WWII Horror Film OVERLORD is Dripping with Blood

We’ve got a new poster to share with you for the J.J. Abrams-produced film Overlord and as you can see it’s made up of drips of blood that are made to look like paratroopers falling from the sky.

This crazy-ass looking supernatural horror film is set during World War II is set on the eve of D-day when an army of US paratroopers drop in behind enemy lines, to infiltrate a small village. As they struggle to carry out their seemingly impossible mission, they discover a secret Nazi lab carrying out terrifying and bizarre supernatural experiments. I can’t wait to see this flick!

The Overlord cast includes Jovan Adepo (The Leftovers), Wyatt Russell (Everybody Wants Some!!), Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones), Dominic Applewhite (The King’s Speech), Pilou Asbaek (Game of Thrones), Iain de Caestecker (Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD), John Magaro (The Big Short), Mathilde Ollivier (The Misfortunes of Francois Jane) and Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo).

Overlord was directed by Julius Avery (Son of a Gun) and is based on an original idea by The Hunger Games screenwriter Billy Ray and Abrams. On a side note, this is not a Cloverfield universe movie. The movie opens on November 9th!
