This Unofficial AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER Game Is Being Made in DREAMS
Colin Gluth is a creator known as Eica Gaming who is making an amazing fan project for Avatar The Last Airbender called Avatar [Aang Project]. This is a game that Gluth is creating in Dreams on the PS4. The game is recreating some of the beloved characters and locations that fans long to revisit. Talking to IGN, Gluth explained his inspiration for this project.
There were several reasons why I chose Avatar. I replayed several PS2 Avatar games in the beginning of last year and noticed a lack of mechanics that would have fit perfectly in the world of Avatar; also I never really felt like [I was] reliving the show or revisiting the iconic places shown in the series. Once Early Access for Dreams dropped, I just started rewatching the show. Another thing that pushed me to do it was [...] the huge potential a game like this could have, considering there is a very hungry Avatar fanbase still out there, just like me, crying for a new Avatar game.
Gluth is constantly improving the project, and if you want, you can follow his progress over on YouTube. Fans will be able to bend the elements, use a glider, and much more in this game. If you want to try out Avatar [Aang Project], feel free to give it a go. What kind of Avatar The Last Airbender game would you design?
