This Year's THE SIMPSONS TREEHOUSE OF HORROR WIll Include a VENOM Spoof and Here's a Poster
Over the weekend at Comic-Con, it was announced that the upcoming 35th annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode from The Simpsons will feature a segment that will spoof Venom.
The segment will be titled “Denim,” and it will center on Homer’s “deep relationship with a simple alien symbiotic pair of jeans.”
Showrunner Matt Selman said: “It’s a really funny, silly segment… the jeans are going to be actual stop motion denim created by the Stoopid Buddies animators that do the ‘Robot Chicken’ shows.”
It was also revealed that another creepy episode of The Simpsons is headed our way this coming Fall titled “Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes.”
This other episode will spoof a trio of stories from Ray Bradbury, the author of “Something Wicked This Way Comes.”
“Treehouse of Horror 35” airs after Halloween, with “Simpsons Wicked” airing in November.
