Thomas Jane Set to Star in the New Western FRONTIER CRUCIBLE; RESERVOIR DOGS Meets BONE TOMAHAWK

Thomas Jane (The Punisher, The Mist, The Predator) is set to star in the upcoming western film Frontier Crucible, which comes from the producer of Bone Tomahawk, Dallas Sonnier.

The movie is described as Reservoir Dogs meets Bone Tomahawk, and the story is set in the Arizona Territory of the 1870s.

The movie also stars Myles Clohessy (The Pendragon Cycle), Eli Brown (Run Hide Fight), Eddie Spears (Yellowstone) and Zane Holtz (Hunter Killer), singer/songwriter Jonah Kagen and Mary Stickley.

The film will follow “a former soldier (Clohessy) with a tragic past who is thrown into an uneasy alliance with three outlaws (led by Jane), a beautiful woman (Stickley), and her wounded husband (Brown), in an attempt to survive the elements and hostiles of the western frontier.”

The movie is being directed by Travis Mills (The Pendragon Cycle) and the story is adapted from the 1961 western novel Desert Stake-Out by Harry Whittington.

This sounds like it could be a really cool western project, and it will start shooting next month in Monument Valley and Prescott, Arizona.
