Thomas Middleditch Has Signed on to Star in Chuck Lorre's Sitcom Pilot B POSITIVE at CBS

Thomas Middleditch, known for his roles in Silicon Valley, Zombieland: Double Tap, and many voice projects, has signed on to star in the upcoming sitcom B Positive at CBS, from Chuck Lorre, who has created Dharma & Greg, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Mom, and so many others. Middleditch joins Annaleigh Ashford (Masters of Sex) in the multi-cam comedy, along with Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect, Impastor) and Kether Donohue (Pitch Perfect, You’re the Worst).

Here’s the synopsis for the show, and a character description, via Variety:

In the show, faced with finding a kidney donor, newly divorced dad Drew (Middleditch) is at the end of his rope when he runs into Gina (Ashford), a rough-around-the edges woman from his past who volunteers her own. Together they form an unlikely bond and begin a journey that will change both of their lives.

Drew is a therapist who makes his living trying to fix other people’s problems. Described as educated, bookish, and neurotic, he lacks social skills and isn’t much of a people person.

This sounds like a funny series, and with it coming from Lorre, I think it will be a solid show. I will be interested in checking it out. How about you?
