THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER Concept Art Reveals Alternate Design For Thor's Adopted Daughter
Marvel Studios' Director of Visual Development Andy Park has shared some new concept art for Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder. This art features an alternate character design for Gorr’s daughter, who becomes Thor’s adopted daughter at the end of the film. The character was played by Chris Hemsworth’s real daughter and they are sure to make a dynamic duo moving forward.
This concept art was created for the team by John Staub, and Park explained how the team felt that this version of the character was a lot of fun:
"Spreading lots of LOVE on this day! I loved coming up with the concept design of Love for Thor: Love And Thunder Taking nods from the design of Gorr by fellow Vis Dev artist @johnstaubart I explored coming up with a look that spoke to her spunky personality. This design I did was before I was told that she would be cast by Chris Hemsworth's actual daughter, which I thought would be perfect."
The character has a very playful Punky Brewster vibe to her. I like it!
