THOR: RAGNAROK Gets a Fun New Promo Spot and it Looks Like it Will Have a $100 Million Opening Weekend
Marvel has released yet another new TV spot for Thor: Ragnarok, and yes, it also contains some new footage. Don't worry, though, there's nothing that has been released for the movie so far that spoils anything major for the film. Just believe the hype, because the movie really is as amazing as everyone says it is!
It seems like fans are really pumped up for it because according to Variety, the film is tracking for a $100 million dollar opening weekend. If that happens, it will make it the highest grossing Thor movie opening for Marvel yet. The movie deserves all of the success that it gets!
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi with a screenplay by Eric Pearson, Craig Kyle, and Christopher Yost. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins.
Thor: Ragnarok is set to open in theaters on November 3, 2017.
