Three New Sequels to THE STRANGERS Are Going into Production Next Month
It looks like The Strangers horror franchise is going to continue in a big way. Producer Roy Lee, who launched the franchise, has revealed that there are three new sequels in development and start production next month. Bloody-Disgusting recently asked the producer about the possibility of a sequel, and this was his response:
“I think the next three are in production next month with another filmmaker that people will know.”
He didn’t offer any other details, but I enjoyed the first two films in the franchise, and I hope this next set of films will be just as good! I enjoyed the intensity and brutality of the movies.
The franchise was launched with The Strangers in 2008 with Bryan Bertino directing. The 2018 film, Strangers: Prey at Night, was helmed by Johannes Roberts. I’m curious to learn what filmmaker will take on the next three films in the franchise.
