On October 18, 2022, Shout! Studios will be bringing Three Wishes For Cinderella to North American audiences on DVD and Blu-ray + DVD. Starring Scandinavian pop star Astrid S, Cengiz Al (Skam), Thorbjørn Harr (Vikings), Nasrin Khusrawi (Lilyhammer), Bjørn Sundquist (Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters), Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones), Ellen Dorrit Petersen (The Worst Person in the World, The Innocents), and Ingrid Giæver (Thelma), and directed by Cecilie A. Mosli (Grey’s Anatomy).

This version of Cinderella is set in the arctic winter of Norway. Although the setting gives off strong Frozen vibes, this takes a lot of elements from some of the very first versions of Cinderella we have. For example, instead of a fairy godmother it looks like she has magic acorns to grant her wishes and her first meeting with the prince is while he is out hunting.
