Thrilling Trailer For Sandra Bullock's Unique Post-Apocalyptic Horror Film BIRD BOX
We’ve seen a lot of post-apocalyptic films made over the years, but I’ve never really seen anything like what Bird Box is going to deliver.
Netflix has released the first trailer for the post-apocalyptic horror thriller and it looks really freakin’ good! The movie stars Sandra Bullock as the mother of two children who is forced to survive in a world that has been overrun by mysterious creatures that drive people mad by terrorizing them with their worst fears. This madness causes people to kill themselves. It’s actually kind of horrifying. The only way to survive is for people to keep their eyes closed.
Bird Box was directed by Susanne Bier (The Night Manager) and it also stars John Malkovich, Sarah Paulson, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar, Danielle Macdonald, Lil Rel Howery, Tom Hollander, Colson Baker, and BD Wong.
Here’s the synopsis:
When a mysterious force decimates the world’s population, only one thing is certain: if you see it, you take your life. Facing the unknown, Malorie finds love, hope and a new beginning only for it to unravel. Now she must flee with her two children down a treacherous river to the one place left that may offer sanctuary. But to survive, they’ll have to undertake the perilous two-day journey blindfolded.
I like what I’ve seen from this movie in this first trailer. It looks like an incredibly intense and unique story.
