Thrilling Trailer For The New Series STRANGE ANGEL - "Sex. Magick. Rocket Science"

There's a new series coming from CBS called Strange Angel that was inspired by true story of Jack Parsons, who dreamed of building rockets and sending man into space. As you'll see, things take a strange an interesting turn. We have the first trailer to share with you and the show looks great!

Strange Angel was created by Mark Heyman (Black Swan, The Skeleton Twins) and directed by David Lowery (A Ghost Story, Pete’s Dragon), which is probably why it looks so good! The series is based on George Pendle’s book of the same name and the story explores the "dramatic intersection between genius and madness, science and science fiction" and this is the synopsis that was released:

Jack Parsons (Jack Reynor), a brilliant and ambitious blue-collar worker in 1930s Los Angeles, works as a janitor at a chemical factory but dreams of building rockets that will take mankind to the moon. As he helps pioneer the unknown discipline of rocket science by day, by night, Parsons is pulled into a new occult religion created by Aleister Crowley, performing sex magick rituals to bend the world to his will and make his fantastical dreams a reality.

The cast of the series also includes Rupert Friend, Bella Heathcote, Peter Mark Kendall, Michael Gaston, Greg Wise, Rade Šerbedžija, Zack Pearlman and Keye Chen.

The series is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Scott Free Productions with Ridley Scott serving as executive producer. 

Strange Angel will premiere on Thursday, June 14 on CBS All Access.
