THUNDERCATS Poster Art Created by Artist Mike McGee - "Eye of Thundera"

ThunderCats, Ho! If you’re a fan of the classic ‘80s fantasy cartoon series ThunderCats, I’ve got an art print here that you might want to consider getting your hands on! This print is called “Eye of Thundra,” and it was created by artist Mike McGee for Hero Complex Gallery.

ThunderCats tells the story of a group of cat-like humanoid aliens from the planet Thundera. The ThunderCats, led by their noble leader Lion-O, find themselves on a mysterious and hostile planet - Third Earth - after Thundera is destroyed. Lion-O, alongside other key characters such as Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, WilyKit and WilyKat, must navigate their new environment, battling the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra and a variety of other foes, while upholding their code of righteousness and truth.

I sure did love this series when I was a kid, I also had a few of the action figures. This is one of those properties that fans have been waiting to see adapted into a film, but for some reason, no one has been able to make that happen. Instead, we’ve gotten some animated reboot shows that never really worked.
