Ti West Set to Direct Mia Goth and Kid Cudi in a New Horror Thriller Titled X
Ti West, the director of films such a The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers, and The Sacrament, is set to helm another horror thriller titled X. Mia Goth (Suspiria, A Cure For Wellness) and Scott Mescudi, a.k.a. Kid Cudi, are set to star, and Jenna Ortega (Jane The Virgin, The Babysitter: Killer Queen) in final negotiations to join them.
Unfortunately, we have no plot details to share with you. Nothing has been revealed in regards to the story, but the report notes that X is “expected to bear similarities of West’s past films that put him on the map.”
That’s good to know because I actually have enjoyed the horror films that West has made. I dig his filmmaking style and the nightmarish tone that he brings to his films. West most recently directed the western In The Valley Of Violence starring Ethan Hawke as well as The Sacrament. He is currently working out the Amazon series Them: Convenant.
The film will be a co-production between A24 and BRON Studios and production is expected to start in early 2021.
