Tilda Swinton Star's in Martin Scorsese-Produced Ghost Story THE ETERNAL DAUGHTER
Tilda Swinton stars in a new ghost story movie coming from producer Martin Scorsese titled The Eternal Daughter. The film shot in secret in Wales during lockdown and the project re-teams Swinton with director Joanna Hogg. They previously collaborated on the films The Souvenir and the upcoming The Souvenir Part 2.
The story is a mystery-drama that will tell the story of “a middle-aged daughter and her elderly mother who must confront long-buried secrets when they return to their former family home, a once-grand manor that has become a nearly vacant hotel brimming with mystery.”
Swinton is joined by Joseph Mydell, Carly Davies, and newcomer Alfie Sankey-Green. The film is being produced by Element Pictures and JWH Films, who are also behind movies such as Normal People, The Favourite and Room.
Swinton is currently shooting George Miller’s mystery-drama Three Thousand Years Of Longing with Idris Elba.
