Tim Allen is Talking About a Possible HOME IMPROVEMENT Revival Series

Home Improvement was one of those shows that my brothers and I enjoyed watching when were were kids in the 90s. It was just a lighthearted show that made us laugh. I actually recently started rewatching it because it’s been forever, and the comedy still holds up.

Well, it turns out that Tim Allen is talking about the possibility of developing a revival spinoff series. During a recent interview with The Messenger, while promoting Season 2 of the Disney+ series The Santa Clauses, Allen was asked about the possibility of a spinoff and he said:

“I see Richard Karn a lot. And I talk to the boys…and I’m there as one of their friends. We keep talking about [a spinoff].”

Karn is the actor who played Al Borland in the series. Allen also shared the concept of what a Home Improvement revival series might be, he explained:

“It’s funny, one of the conversations we’ve had recently is how weird it would be if Home Improvement would be about the kids’ kids. Like if all of them had children, and I’m a grandparent. Home Re-Improvement or something like that. It’s come up.”

If they brought Home Improvement back for some kind of revival, yeah… I’d watch it! It’d be interesting to see if Allen could get the gang back together. It could be a fun show! What do you think? Would you want to see a Home Improvement revival?
