Timothee Chalamet Is Edward Scissorhands' Son in Cadillac's Super Bowl Ad with Winona Ryder
Cadillac has released a Super Bowl ad for its Cadillac LYRIQ electric car, and it’s inspired by Tim Burton’s classic film Edward Scissorhands.
The commercial stars Timothée Chalamet as Edgar Scissorhands, Edward’s son, and he’s joined by Winona Ryder, who is reprising her role as Kim from the original 1990 movie. Kim is Edgar’s mom, and as you’ll see, Edgar has inherited his father’s scissorhands.
Life isn’t easy for Edgar thanks to his scissorhands. Like his father, he has a lot of difficulties doing certain things, and after being shunned by the bus and having his mom driving him around everywhere, one thing that he’d like to do is drive himself. That’s where the LYRIQ comes into the story.
This is a great concept for an ad and Chalamet is the perfect casting choice for Edward’s son! This is a fun and sweet commercial and you can watch it below!
