Timothy Olyphant Joins Owen Wilson in Untitled Golf Comedy Series at Apple TV+
Timothy Olyphant (Justified, The Santa Clarita Diet) has joined the cast of Owen Wilson’s untitled golf-centered comedy series at Apple TV+. The show was originally picked up for 10 episodes at Apple in March. Wilson will star alongside fellow cast members Peter Dager, Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, and Judy Greer. Olyphant will appear in a guest star role.
Per the official logline the series follows Pryce Cahill (Wilson), “an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago.
After he gets fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife walks out on him, Pryce hedges his bets entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom (Drager).”
Olyphant will play Clark, described as “a successful, former golf pro who once toured with Pryce.” This sounds like it’s shaping up to be a fun series with a solid cast. Stay tuned for updates.
