Timothy Zahn Shares His Thoughts On Mara Jade Potentially Being In STAR WARS: EPISODE IX

Timothy Zahn doesn't think Mara Jade is going to appear in Star Wars: Episode IX, but in light of various rumors the author has said he'd be fine with re-introducing her into the franchise's canon. The acclaimed Star Wars author opened up to the Talking Bay 94 podcast and said the following:

If there was a generic, or organic, spot for her to fit into a story...I promise people, I will pitch it to the Lucasfilm story group, and then, it’s their decision whether to allow it or not.

Disney has been gracious to Zahn since its initial expulsion of Star Wars' expanded universe canon and reintroduced his most famous Star Wars character, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Would you like to see Mara Jade in an upcoming Star Wars series or film?
