Toei is Launching a Tokusatsu YouTube Channel in Addition to Partnership with PlutoTV

I feel like the popularity of Tokusatsu shows has been on the rise lately. If you’re unaware of what Tokusatsu is, it’s a Japanese genre that incorporates shows like Sentai (the original Power Rangers) of robots and monsters fighting. American Tokusatsu shows include Power Rangers, Beetleborgs, and Masked Rider to name a few. Well, if you’re interested in the Japanese stuff, you’re in luck. The ad-supported free streaming service PlutoTV now has a Tokusatsu channel thanks to Shout Factory called TOKUSHOUTSU and it’s constantly streaming shows like Mirai Sentai Timeranger and Gosei Sentai Dairanger.

If that’s not enough, Toei has announced that they’re launching a Tokusatsu YouTube channel. This channel will feature episodes from 70 shows. This is fantastic! The channel will begin uploading videos on April 6, and I cannot wait. Here’s a simple breakdown of what to expect:
