Tom Cruise Rides Into the Danger Zone in Awesome New Trailer for TOP GUN: MAVERICK
This summer we will get to watch Tom Cruise ride back into the danger zone in the long-awaited sequel to the 1986 classic, Top Gun. Top Gun: Maverick has been years in the making, and it looks like the wait will be worth it. We’ve got a new trailer to share with you today that offers some spectacular and exciting new footage from sequel. This movie seriously looks freakin’ awesome, and I can’t wait to see it!
The movie also stars Miles Teller as Goose's son, Val Kilmer, Glen Powell, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, and Lewis Pullman. Here’s the new synopsis that was released:
After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.”
Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.
Top Gun: Maverick has been shooting in San Diego with Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy) at the helm. The movie is set to be released on June 26, 2020. Watch the trailer and let us know if you like what you see!
