Tom Cruise is an absolute madman! He will do anything to entertain the fans who watch his films! Good grief! We just watched some insane behind the scenes footage for his upcoming film Mission: Impossible 7, and it shows him pulling off one of the craziest and most dangerous stunts ever performed for a movie! This is why I freakin’ love Tom Cruise! Here’s our reaction video!

In a previous interview, Cruise talked about the technical eventualities that were running through his head on the first day of filming after months of training for this stunt, as he was hurtling through the sky. He explained:

“If the wind was too strong, it would blow me off the ramp. The helicopter [filming the stunt] was a problem, because I didn’t want to be hammering down that ramp at top speed and get hit by a stone. Or if I departed in a weird way, we didn’t know what was going to happen with the bike. I had about six seconds once I departed the ramp to pull the chute and I don’t want to get tangled in the bike. If I do, that’s not going to end well.”

Mission: Impossible 7 is directed by director Christopher McQuarrie and it also stars Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter), Rebecca Ferguson (Doctor Sleep), Simon Pegg (Ready Player One), Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Vanessa Kirby (Hobbs & Shaw), and Henry Czerny (Ready or Not) along with newcomers Shea Whigham (Joker), Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War), and Esai Morales (La Bamba, Titans) as the villain. Even Henry Czerny from the first Mission: Impossible film will reprise his role for the first time. The movie also features Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2), Charles Parnell (Top Gun: Maverick), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), and Mark Gatiss (Sherlock).

Mission: Impossible 7 is set to be released in theaters on May 27, 2022.
