Tom Hanks' WWII Film GREYHOUND Has a New Release Date

Greyhound is a World War II film that will focus on the sea and Tom Hanks will star in, produce, and write it. The film was originally planned to release on April 5, 2019. It was then moved up to February 8, 2019, but has now been pushed to March 22, 2019. It’s still sooner than the original release date, which should have some Hanks fans pleased. Here’s a synopsis from Den of Geek:

Greyhound is an adaptation of the novel, The Good Shepherd, by C.S. Forester. It’s a World War II-set drama, following a Navy officer (Hanks) who finally gets to command a destroyer, but has to get on top of his personal doubts and demons as he does so.

In addition to Hanks, fans will be able to see Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Stephen Graham, Rob Morgan, Lee Norris, and Elisabeth Shue in Greyhound and Aaron Schneider is directing. Are you excited to see Hanks in World War II again?
