Tom Hardy Announces That Pre-Production on VENOM 3 Has Started
For those of you who enjoy the Venom films that Sony Pictures develops, you’ll be happy to hear that Venom 3 has started pre-production. The news came from franchise star Tom Hardy on his Instagram page with a video of a test scene of a deleted scene from the first movie, and the caption reads, “Whilst working on V3 pre prep @lelping @sonypictures @sony @venommovie this throwback came up #cuttingroomfloor #byetom👋🏼 #thankstom.”
Kelly Marcel, the writer and producer of the first two Venom films, is directing Venom 3, and Hardy will reprise his role. Marcel also wrote the script and will produce the film alongside Hardy, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.
There are no plot details to share for the movie, but I’m sure it will involve Venom having to save the day again when a new weird villain emerges and threatens to destroy the world. I have no interest in this film version of the character, especially after Venom: Let There Be Carnage. I just don’t like what they’ve done with Venom.
