Tom Hardy Shares Behind the Scenes Photo From the Set of VENOM 3 Confirming Production Has Begun With a Connection to Spider-Man
Tom Hardy is back on the Venom 3 set, and he has a photo to prove it. Now that the actor strike has ended, films and series have returned to work, and fans are getting excited again about what’s to come. Kelly Marcel, who wrote and produced the first two Venom films, is directing this third one from a screenplay she wrote. That script is based on a story that she developed with Hardy.
Hardy will be back in the role of Eddie Brock, and he is joined by Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor. It’s been rumored that Ejiofor will be taking on the role of a character named Orwell Taylor.
The second film, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, ended with Eddie Brock stranded on the MCU's Earth-616, leaving fans excited about the prospect of him appearing in Tom Holland's Spider-Man: No Way Home. Instead, Venom only appeared in the post-credits scene, revealing that Eddie Brock remained in Mexico, and he left a piece of the Symbiote behind. According to a recent rumor, the plan is for Hardy and Holland's characters to cross paths "sooner than you think."
The photo below features Hardy in character alongside the film’s director. You may notice he is wearing the same clothes Eddie had on in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Does this mean we'll see what happened on Earth-616 or do we just pick up immediately after he's sent back to his own reality? I guess we will just have to wait and see. Check out the photo, and watch Venom 3 when it hits theaters on its new release date, November 8, 2024.
