Tom Hiddleston Chooses Erik Killmonger as Favorite Non-Loki MCU Villain

Outside of Loki, Marvel Cinematic Universe villains have all been pretty bland and generic. Or, they were, until Black Panther came out this February. Black Panther introduced us to Erik Killmonger (played by Michael B. Jordan) who was a very well-done villain. One that could potentially rival Loki. Screen Rant recently asked Loki himself (Tom Hiddleston) who his top three MCU villains were:

SR: Loki’s almost like the torch bearer for the Marvel cinematic villain. What other villains do you like? Who are your top three, besides Loki, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Hiddleston: I just saw Black Panther like everybody else, months ago. Michael B Jordan as Killmonger, absolutely extraordinary performance, really amazing. And for me specifically, because I felt as an audience member, I could understand his point of view, you know, even though the logic is misguided or that he’s kind of evacuating his anger on to people who don’t deserve it. You could still, you could understand why he was angry and there was a kind of flawed but comprehensible logic in it.

He is spot-on. I was just talking to a friend and we touched on the exact same points as Hiddleston. I know many still think Loki is the best, but I think we can all agree that Killmonger is definitely in the top 3 of all of our lists. Who are your top 3 villains from the MCU? I would probably choose Loki, Killmonger, and either Red Skull or Vulture.
